Rod and Tina Saboury’s new Split Window 63 “Black Widow” Corvette was unveiled at the Sema Show in Las Vegas. Once again Rod has pushed the limits with his extremely Radical Corvettes.

One of the draws of SEMA is that you know you are going to see some cool custom cars and in our opinion, one of the best custom vettes on display at this year’s show was Rod Saboury’s 1963 Split Window Corvette he calls “Black Widow”. If Rod’s name rings a bell, it’s because Saboury was also the man behind the World’s fastest street Legal 1963 Corvette drag car which we featured just last month. Read more…

SEMA 2012: Rod Saboury’s New Ride is Another Extreme Split Window
Regular readers of Corvette Online may recall that Rod Saboury, owner of the ’63 Split Window Corvette billed as the ‘world’s fastest street car,’ put that particular C2 up for sale on eBay recently. Of course, the man needs a new way to get to the grocery store, so Saboury commissioned Troy Spackman and Legacy Innovations to build him a new Corvette. (Read more here…)
